Quick Liquor Inventory Calculator

Enter your liquor inventory values for the period. The calculator will automatically compute your liquor usage (COGS) and pour cost percentage.

Value of liquor inventory at the start of the period (last bar count's ending inventory).

Total cost of liquor bought during this period (from liquor and beer/wine invoices).

Value of liquor inventory at the end of the period (from your latest bar count).

Total liquor sales after comps and discounts (exclude tax and tips).

Liquor Usage / COGS ($)
$0.00

Formula: Beginning Liquor + Liquor Purchases − Ending Liquor

Pour Cost %
0.0%

Formula: Liquor Usage ÷ Net Liquor Sales

How It Works

  • Beginning Liquor Inventory: Dollar value of bar inventory at the start of the period.
  • Liquor Purchases: Everything you bought for the bar during the period.
  • Ending Liquor Inventory: Dollar value of liquor on hand at the end of the period.
  • Liquor Usage / COGS: What you actually poured or lost during the period.
  • Pour Cost %: Liquor cost as a percentage of liquor sales (lower is better, within concept ranges).
